Please tell us about yourself.

I grew up in Hawthorne, NJ. I love music and have made dozens of playlists. Writing has always been my central form of creativity, but I also love to dance, draw, and design. I am the youngest of four siblings, and my absolute favorite thing is being an aunt to my nephews.

Tell the story of how you got to EC?

After graduating from Gordon College with a degree in English, I worked as the Creative and Content Creator at Touch the World Ministries. I helped develop resources for youth, managed communications, and designed creative pieces (e.g. postcards, videos) to promote TTW’s programs. The best part of my job was helping to run summer missions training and coaching youth teams preparing to go on short-term mission trips. Over the past year, and in the midst of many life changes, I began to consider teaching. I wanted to work more directly with students, and I became excited about the idea of reconnecting with my love for writing and literature.

What sets EC apart?

EC is a place where academics, discipleship, creativity, and community all come together. Faith, at EC, does not limit learning or making; instead, it empowers students to look at the world with courage and curiosity. Students learn more about who God is by studying the world and people He created. I also see Him forging a greater sense of belonging at EC through the faculty and their care for students.
